Can The Dometic RV Water Heater Be Connected To An Old Atwood RV Water Heater Wall Switch
Updated 08/15/2022 | Published 08/14/2022 >
Question:
When using this water heater to replace the Atwood G6A-8E, will the existing power switch inside the RV work with this heater or will it have to be replaced?

Expert Reply:
The switch for your old water heater simply interrupts the power running to the unit. If you connect your new Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR to that same switch then it will also control the power flowing to the unit and allow you to control whether it's on or off.
