Question:

I was wandering if the Curt weight distribution C17499 or C17500 would work because it is less expensive. Tougue weight of my camper is 631lbs with a dry weight of 4718 and gross weight of 7511lbs?

I can't attach the pictures you sent in due to copyright issues but for the 2015 Forest River Salem Cruise you sent info in on that has a tongue weight of 631 lb unloaded I would recommend the Reese Strait Line WD system part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features the best sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.

The Curt systems you mentioned would work well. They have a narrower tongue weight range though. The part # C17499 has a range of 600-800 and the part # C17500 has a range of 800-1,000 lbs. So what you will need to do is determine what your tongue weight is going to be when the trailer is loaded and go with the system that has appropriate TW range. Keep in mind any cargo weight in the bed of your truck that's behind rear axle would could as tongue weight too. The Reese system has a much wider range and a better sway control but if you find the correct rated Curt it will work great too.
