Good afternoon. I am interested in the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer. Is there an option or way wider tires could be put on the trailer. We have a place in the NC Outer Banks and operate in a sandy environment. Wider tires would help with storing in our sandy yard and parking in sandy areas. Thanks!

The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer with Post Style Carrier for 4 Kayaks part # MAL63FR comes with 4.80/4.00-8" tires which measure 4.6" wide. There isn't much room for larger tires but you likely could squeeze in there a 5.70-8, the Loadstar 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel part # AM30150 which measures 5.9" wide.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to order the trailer with this size but rather order the trailer with the size it comes with and swap them out after the fact.
