Question:

Hey! I just bought a Yakima Skinnywarrior and my crossbars are too wide apart to mount it to the rear bar bars are mounted on a fiberglass canopy and I don’t want to re-drill. I was looking at this product and it looks like it would fit well, but i just wanted to double check. I have Yakima square bars. Thanks!

The square part of the Mounting Adapters for Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket # SPY400 is for a 3/4" square bar so if that's what your crossbars measure then the square part will fit the crossbars as it sounds like you're wanting to install the U-Bolts over the round framing at the bottom of the Yakima SkinnyWarrior # Y07014. The only square crossbars I know of that Yakima has carried are their newer HD bars which are more rectangular and would be too large for this adapter.

I'm not sure which version of the SkinnyWarrior you have but if you have the standard 58" long version that fits 24" - 38" crossbar spreads then you can add the Extension Piece # Y07016 for an additional 16" of length which sounds like it would get you where you're needing to go.
