Question:

I have a 2017 Audi Q7 with a standard audi 48” roof rack. I want to install a Thule Hullevator and need longer crossbars. Do you sell crossbars that can replace the existing bars or do I need to buy a new rack? Thanks

The factory roof rack on your 2017 Audi Q7 has crossbars that terminate at the towers/feet. In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs - Side Loading, part # TH898, your crossbars need to extend 4" to 8" beyond the towers/feet. You will need to install a roof rack with longer crossbars to use the Hullavator. The Thule rack I recommend will consist of the following items:

Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4, part # TH460R
Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3145, part # THKIT3145

This roof rack has a maximum weight limit of 165 lbs. The crossbars will extend beyond your Thule feet.
