What size is the pilot hole in this brake assy the one I have is about 3-7/8"

The pilot hole on the 12-1/4" Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Dust Shields # AKEBRK-8 is about 4" so it will work for your application.
You will want to make sure the bolt holes line up with what you have though so I'm attaching a photo showing those dimensions for you to double check.
