Question:

Hi - I just ordered this part and had it expedited to me. I am getting a bulb out warning. Anytime I put the car in reverse, the car pings and the error message is displayed on the dash. It goes away when I drive, but pings again when I turn off the engine. It is driving me crazy!! Is there any way around this?? Thanks!!

If the adapter, # C35FR, is still causing the bulb out sensor when towing a trailer with LED lights then there is another option. You can install load resistors, # DI34ZR, on the trailer wiring. The load resistors will need to go on each circuit so you will need at least 3 for a 4-Way trailer connector for the basic lighting functions. These will provide more draw on the system and the vehicle will not think there is a bulb out.

The other possibility is that there actually is a bulb out somewhere so you can connect the trailer and have someone run through the lighting functions while you look to see if there are any bulbs that are out.
