Can A 2022 Chevrolet Traverse Be Flat Towed?
Updated 07/14/2022 | Published 07/10/2022 >
Question:
In the revised dinghy towing section of Chevy Traverse owners manual it says to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before towing. Do you have any idea why? Second question, which towbar is recommended for my car without adaptive cruise control?

Typically it is required to disconnected the negative terminal on your towed vehicle to avoid unauthorized use of your vehicle or unwanted battery consumption when not used for long periods of time.
However I did also check the owner's manual for your 2022 Chevrolet Traverse, and they explicitly state that your vehicle should never be towed with four wheels on the ground as it can damage your drivetrain.
The manual recommends using a tow dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1 or a flat bed truck to transport your toad.
