Hi, I was wondering if you would be able to tell me if the Thule 961XT SPEEDWAY would fit on a Subaru 2013 Crossrek. The manual didnt list that car since it wasnt out yet we had it on a 2010 outback sport previously, but I didnt know if there was somewhere else we could check. Thank you!

While we do have a solution for you, it is impossible to know whether the discontinued Thule 961XT Speedway trunk bike rack fits a 2013 Crosstrek because the rack was discontinued before it could be tested on the 2013 model. Trunk rack manufacturers unfortunately do not continue to test discontinued products on vehicles produced after the discontinuation.

With that being said, the only 100% way to get a rack that definitely fits on your 2013 XV Crosstrek is to purchase a rack that has been tested on your vehicle. For that route, I recommend the Thule Gateway Pro 2 # TH88VR. This rack comes with a 35-pound maximum per-bike weight capacity and comes with anti-sway cradles to minimize side-to-side movement during transport. To protect the rack from theft, I suggest using the Thule Passive Security Strap # TH533.
