Question:

My truck bed is 5 feet 10 with the Overhaul 60inch crossbars. I like the 62width of the 84 x 62 but i would need to shorten the length. During assembly, can you leave off cross bars and make the platform shorter than 84, say 66 inches?

There is a LockNLoad platform rack that I verified directly with Yakima does fit the 60 inch crossbars of the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 60" Crossbars # Y01151-57.

The 62 inch width won't work though as it's just too wide and you can't leave off the crossbars; the platform does need to attach directly to them. So what you will need is the 60" x 54" LockNLoad, along with crossbar clamps, and you can get that all-in-one with the following part:

This platform will allow you to either carry accessories which fit in its channels, and there are options to tie down cargo in a number of ways, with any (or a combination of) the Eye Bolts # Y01162, HD Hook Straps # Y01165, or Load Stops # Y01161.
