Question:
Install of Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 2016 Wrangler I have completed all of the wiring install for the controller I purchased from you a week ago. The Brown and White wire, provides no signal to the controller when brake is depressed. 1. I get not signal at that brake pedal connector location when using a tester. 2. I get Brake lights 3. I get all Brake lights on trailer also 4. I can use manual lever on Controller and Brakes activate 5. Pressing brake pedal does nothing, Controller stays at 0.0 6. I drive it, not change. 7. All fuses are good 8. I purchased a new Brake Pedal switch, no change. 9. Controller recognizes connected trailer. Im now at wits end and stuck. Please help been working about 24 total hours on this. Read just about every email from people on this site having same issue.

The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 employs an inertial sensor. It senses the deceleration of your Wrangler and generates an output that is based on that deceleration. If you're testing controller by pressing the brake pedal while it's parked it will not activate the brakes on your trailer.
Another thing to check would be the power setting you have the controller at. At minute 1 of the attached video below Randy will walk you through adjusting the power level settings.
One other thing to check is the orientation of the controller itself, if the controller isn't installed as seen in the picture below it will not properly function.
As for the wiring, the brown/white wire is the brake light switch for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and it will only receive power when the brake pedal is being depressed. If you're not getting power from that wire then you can bypass it by installing a Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000 and splicing the red wire from the brake controller into the blue wire of the stop light switch kit.
If these steps do not solve your issue please reply back and we can keep troubleshooting.
