Can 2 Hullavator Pro Carriers Fit 60 Inch Round Crossbars on GOBI Stealth Carrier

Question:

I have 2 questions. I have a GOBI stealth rack on a 2016 4Runner. The rack uses 1-1/8 round crossbars like what Yakima uses but the mounting is different. Would the base of the Hullivator have issues being mounted on this crossbar utilizing this mount? The rack is 45 inch wide and I would like to run one one each side. The dynamic and static weight checks out and a 60 inch crossbar puts me with 7.5 inch overhang on each side. Is that enough space to mount 2 Hullivators? I figure leaving 3 inch in the center between them would have my mount at the very edge of that 7.5 inch overhang but not sure how much space is actually required between that 28.5 inch needed for the Hullivator Base.

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 does fit around 1-1/8" round crossbars like what you have and the max crossbar space it takes up is 28-1/2" so you will be able to fit 2 of them on 60" crossbars.

With that being said, just be mindful this carrier weighs in at 39.7 lbs so 2 of these kits will reduce your roof rack weight capacity by about 80 lbs. As long as your kayaks don't exceed the remaining weight capacity of your GOBI Stealth Rack on your 2019 Toyota 4Runner you'll be good to go!
