Question:
Hi E-trailer experts, Im looking at the AM10002 8-inch trailer tire. It says it is designed for agricultural and off-road use. Does that mean that I should not use it on my boat trailer that I take on the highway at speeds up to 70 mph? What trailer tire do I need that is highway legal? 8-inch, 4 hole rim. THanks!

You are correct and I do have a tire for you. However, you don't want to use the Kenda Loadstar K371 Bias Trailer Tire - 4.80/4.00-8 item # AM10002 on the highway at 70 mph. Instead you will want the Kenda K371 Bias Trailer Tire - 4.80/4.00-8 - Load Range C item # AM10004. This tire is the same size but is a Load Range C tire. It is rated to be used on the highway but has a maximum speed of 65 mph when inflated to 90 PSI. This is our highest rated 4.80/4.00-8 tire.
For a great tire and wheel combo you will want the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C item # AM30050.
