Question:

need lippert right hand rv SCREEN door Latch. per your video the part # should be LC201471. when i enter that part # it is a different product. please advise. the left hand #is LC201472. please adivse correct # for the RH.

There definitely is some confusion between which is left hand and which is right hand because these brands swap their point view instead of just using one standard system.

The Replacement Screen Door Latch for Right Swinging RV Entry Doors # LC27UD point of view is from outside of the trailer.

To avoid all the confusion you can just use the Bi-Directional Screen Door Latch # 37206-11865, which is compatible with either side.

Will the LC27UD work on my right swinging screen door if the current latch is bi-directional latch of my 2005 Casita camper ? I know the newer model Casita campers use the LC27UD style…. Thanks…

@GaryP For the Replacement Screen Door Latch for Right Swinging RV Entry Doors # LC27UD to work your screen door's hinge needs to be on the right side when looking at the trailer from the outside. If your current latch is bi-directional you'll likely have the standard slider and would need to switch to the correct slide to match the shape of the # LC27UD. We don't currently offer the correct slide so you'd need to reach out to Lippert for it.
