Troubleshooting Pitch Arm Not Staying Put on Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning

Question:
After pulling down the arm to adjust pitch it goes back to its original position. What are we doing wrong?

If the pitch adjustment isn't staying in place for your Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning # LC517505 then you'll need to adjust the bolt (B) in the center of the joint to tighten up this function. Attached is a photo showing the location of the bolt.

i have done that adjustment as tight as i can put 250 pounds behind. What would be the next solution. Thanks HOB
