Replacement A/C For A 2006 Carriage Cameo With A Carrier A/C

Question:

This air conditioner needs to be replaced, but I cannot find any reference to this model number anywhere online, only 68RV0010KA. What current make/model replaces this unit, which is controlled by a remote. Also does this model number indicate a heat pump? What additional parts like control boards, ceiling assemblies, wiring and/or thermostats are required? Thanks for all your help.

For your old Carrier A/C you can use either the:

-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 for white,

or,

-The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135B for black.

You're going to also need the Carrier Adapter Wiring Kit for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACCARKIT to be able to use your existing Carrier ceiling vent and thermostat.

I did some research on your older Carrier unit, and it appears that you have a 13,500Btu heating capacity, ducted unit, that has the cool only option, no heat.

Either of these options will work great as a replacement for your unit, and will work with ducted/ductless systems.
