Which Replacement Air Conditioner for Advent AC150 Unit on 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Replacing an Advent AC150 unit on a 5th wheel. The original unit and parts appear to be long out of production. Considering this is an Advent unit of similar make, should I expect a simple remove/replace or is there an adapter kit I need to purchase as well? The 5th wheel is ducted and has a wall-mounted analog thermostat.

The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 15,000 Btu - White # ACM150 is going to be a direct replacement for your old Advent AC150 unit that is currently on your 5th wheel. You won't need any additional parts to install this unit in place of your old one and it will work with your existing thermostat and air distribution box.
