Question:

Hey guys - looking for some suggestions. I have a 19 F250 I pull a 5th wheel with, and Im looking for a good way to carry 3 bikes with it. Putting them on the back of the RV is out too many horror stories. I thought Id see if you had a recommendation to solve this problem. Thinking maybe roof rack, front hitch, or custom hitch on the kingpin on the front of the trailer. Im not really excited about any of the 3. Would love your opinions and experiences.

I think for your situation it would be best to put them on the roof. You could place them in a bike rack at the front of your 2019 Ford F-250 but then the bikes and rack would be taking the brunt of any road debris you encounter.

For a roof rack I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo system because it looks great and will be easy to use and install. Here are the parts you'll need:

Then for a bike rack I highly recommend the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000. This is definitely a premium bike rack but the reason I recommend it is because it allows you to keep the front wheel installed on your bike so you won't have 3 tire/wheels you have to figure out how to store, plus it's pretty easy to use once you've loaded and unloaded the bike once or twice.
