Can Yakima LockNLoad be Installed on 2021 Toyota 4Runner OEM Roof Rack

Hi thank you for the answer on my last question about the assembly.my next question is I have a 2021 Toyota 4Runner premium with factory roof rails can I mount the Yakima platform to my cross bars and if yes I have and ARB awning can it be mounted to the rack and if so what brackets would I need thanks?

Great question!
The OEM roof rack on your 2021 Toyota 4Runner looks nice but it sits too low to your roof for the Yakima LockNLoad # Y05045-39 mounting hardware to fit. Instead of purchasing a roof rack AND the LockNLoad what I recommend doing is picking up the parts to mount the LockNLoad directly to the raised rails on your 4Runner:
60" Long x 54" Wide LockNLoad # Y05045
SL Adapter # Y05042-2
TimberLine Towers # Y33TR
We don't have any brackets designed to fit with the ARB awnings but you should be able to get an ARB awning bracket kit that installs via T-Slots and mount those to the LockNLoad for the installation.
