Will the Malone Foam Block for Kayaks and Stand-Up Paddleboards Work with Yakima Round Bars

Hi. I am wondering if these foam blocks can be used with Yakima round bars? I realize the shape of the cutout of the block is more for aero style bars, but can they still be used with round?
