Can I Use a Thule Hullavator # TH898 with the Thule Hull-A-Port on My 2021 Subaru Crosstrek?

Question:

I want to get my wife a Thule hullavator so she can load her kayak independently. Can the roof of my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek accommodate the 2nd boat? We have Thule Hull-aport kayak cradles on the car now but I cans find an answer if there will be enough room.

In order to make sure that a Thule Hullavator # TH898 can function on your 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, you need to have a crossbar system that extends at least 4 inches past the feet. This crossbar length is required in order for the Hullavator to extend into the "dropped" position. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows this required measurement.

As far as crossbar space you need, I recommend mounting your Hull-A-Port to one end of your crossbar system. Then, from the other end of the crossbar, measure 36 inches from that end toward the vehicle. As long as this length does not interfere with your Hull-A-Port, you have enough crossbar space on your crossbars to mount a Hullavator with the Hull-A-Port.
