Can Center Section of Electric Waste Valve E40B-8 Replace Manual Setup
Published 05/23/2022 >
Question:
Do I need to cut the existing hub off and replace both in and out hubs? Or can I remove the 4 bolts, slide out manual valve and slide in the electric valve??? To try and cut off existing flanges and glue on new to my 3inch pipes would be a major replumbing job which is not worth the upgrade.

To make your life easier you could just remove the center section of your current waste valve and then install just the center section of the part # E40B-8 so that you can convert to an electric setup without having to deal with a much more involved install since the pipes are plastic welded and can't come apart without cutting.
