Thomas Payne Seismic Recliner Won't Open or Close and Just Clicks

Question:
the open and close buttons no longer work. When depressed, all that happens is a clicking sound. Do I need a new cup holder part above or a new power control box? Will appreciate your input. Thanks

The easiest way to rule out a faulty cup holder on the Thomas Payne Seismic Recliner is to simply switch the cup holder from one side to the other. If the issue doesn't carryover you know that's not the problem and it's likely the control box. If it is the cup holder you'll have to reach out to Lippert for replacement as we don't carry them for the Seismic but we do offer the control box, Replacement Power Control Box for Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners and Sofas part # LC36FR.
