Stealth Hitch for 2021 Volvo V90 CC Towing Small Boat

Question:

Hi, I am ready to buy the stealth hitch listed for a 2021 Volvo V90 aware that the automated aspect of the factory hitch wont be a factor with your hitch. In my searching for this hitch the stealth hitch is a better hitch than Volvo offers by 250Lbs of tongue weight, and more versatile. Since the V90 Volvo has used the same hitch since 2017 I am confident the hitch will fit a 2022. My question to you is centered in the controller for lights etc. The software required also enables suspension compensation and other features along with the lights. Is the controller included with this package correct for a 2022 or is a different controller required? The dealer tells me if its a Volvo controller we can program it. Is this package the correct package? I am pulling a 2000lb bass boat

The Stealth hitch you want for a 2021 Volvo V90 is the part # SH67FRT which includes the wiring harness and ball mount option to allow you to tow with. The programmer/controller that comes with this has only been tested to fit the 2021 models at this point. It is a Volvo controller 31454600 so if your dealer said he could program it then this certainly would work in that regard. This would be correct kit for towing a small trailer.
