Question:
I just bought a 2018 gmc sierra 2500hd with the puck system is there anyway to use an offset ball? I used to have a turnover system in my last truck and loved the 4 inch offset.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C47BR used with the 3" Offset Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 16055, is currently the only way I can find to adapt your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the factory prep/puck system to use a offset ball. Do note that these items used together will raise the height of the ball 4" between the 2-1/2" height of the Adapter and 1-1/2" of the offset ball.
There is not a single drop in ball like you had with the Turnover ball, as the Factory prep/puck does not have a locking pin to prevent the ball from turning.
