Question:

Just bought an entegra ethos classB camper van. Thule roof racks are 9and1/2 ft off the ground. I have to have the angled carriers to clear the AC and WineGard on the roof.Been looking at your Telos XL Load Assist to get boat up there. I have 2 small ladders that will raise the base up @2ft. I have Yakima racks so Ill need the adaper kit. do you think thisll all work?

From the information you provided it sounds like everything will work together. The Universal Roof Rack Adapter Kit for Malone Telos XL Load Assist # MAL95VR will adapt your Yakima racks to allow you to use the Telos XL Load Assist for Malone Kayak Carriers # MPG351XL.

The Telos XL Load Assist for Malone Kayak Carriers # MPG351XL extends up to 98-1/4" (approx. 8.2') which is short of the height that you would need, but it sounds like you have a plan in place for that. I would caution that it is always best to have the feet of the Telos XL Load Assist for Malone Kayak Carriers # MPG351XL on the ground because that is the support point for the load assist, but that will leave you short of the 9-1/2' that you need.
