Question:
I am looking to use this pump for irrigation in a small, residential greenhouse, by pumping water from a rain barrel. I have electrical AC power in the greenhouse, with standard electrical outlets. Is there a power adapter/converter available that would allow me to plug this pump into my 110v outlet? Or would a better option be for me just to buy a 12v battery and hook up the pump leads to the battery? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The Seaflo Water Pump part # SE57FR was designed to run on 12 volts so easiest solution would be a car battery like you mentioned and let it run off of that. You could keep the battery charged with a charger like the # CTEK56865.
