Question:
We have a Roadmaster Blackhawk tow bar that we been using with a 1997 Chevy Blazer. We are upgrading to 2218 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk and need to know if what base plate kit will work with the tow bar we have. Is it the direct-connect kit? also looking for a trailer hitch I see two.

When it comes to installing the base plate to your 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521446-5 is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will work with your Blackhawk Towbar.
The baseplate has a simple installation with no welding required, and has a black powder coat finish which is durable and corrosion resistant.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 inch # e62TR is confirmed to fit your 2018 Jeep Cherokee. It also has a bolt-on installation with no welding required.
I attached an installation video link below.
