I’ve seen multiple mount dimensions. Which one is correct for the out side measurement of the mounting box? Thank you.

The outside width of the mounting flange on the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs part # SMFP-4400 is 28-1/8" which you can see in the photo attached below.
