Correct Replacement for Fairview GR-9984 Automatic Changeover RV Gas Regulator

Question:

I have the Fairview GR9984 regulator set up on dual tanks on my 2008 fifth wheel. Problem is I cant get any flow from the second tank, even after disconnecting the one tank that flows and turning the knob to the second tank. I dont believe that this is how it is supposed to work. Makes me think the regulator needs to be replaced. Also, the inoperative side has a 18psi regulator on it before the hose is routed across the trailer to the Fairview regulator. Not sure how to diagnose the problem. Please help.

The Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator part # 37207-30395 will be a great replacement for the Fairview GR-9984. The fittings are all the same so it should be an easy bolt-on swap. They are both auto-changeover regulators with an 11" W.C rating.
