Replacement 4.80 X 12 Load Range C Trailer Tires With Speed Rating Of 81 MPH

Question:
I have a Karavan 5x8 utility trailer with 4.80 x 12C tires on it. I wanted to upgrade to a better tire for hauling at freeway speeds and for longevity of the tire. Any suggestions?

The Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C is a load range C tire like you already have. It is speed rated M which is good for up to 81mph. By keeping the same size you reduce the chance of rubbing that would come from larger tires. Since this tire has a radial construction it is better for use highways and will have a better tread life.
