Question:
Hello, I have a 2014 Ford E150 van. It has the factory 4 pin flat connector. I added an adapter to make it 5 pin for my trailer. I am purchasing another trailer with 7 pin round connector. It has electric brakes. I want to use this outlet Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-, 5- and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector HM 48470 to accommodate both trailers. Which wiring harness would allow me to install this outlet easily? Thank you

Expert Reply:
To convert your 4-way/5-way to a 7-way and 4-way to install a brake controller will require the # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to make the conversion as well as wire up the controller.
Then for a brake controller the Brake EVN # TK63VR would be a great option that's very reliable and performs well.
