However, the crossbars you need on your raised rails need to have at least 4 inches of overhang past the feet on each end in order for the Hullavators to function properly. With this factor, you will have pretty long crossbars on your roof. It is important to make sure that the crossbar length does not extend past the mirrors. I recommend measuring your roof from mirror to mirror to make sure that the crossbars are within those limits. Extending crossbars past the mirrors are not only illegal in some municipalities, but also dangerous.
