Curt trailer hitch 11004, which we do not carry, fits 2006 to 2008 MX-5 Mazda Miatas excluding models with the power retractable hardtop. Hitch # C11028 which we do carry fits 2--6 to 2013 MX-5 Miatas excluding models with the appearance package. So basically they fit different models.

If you go with hitch # C11028 and plan on doing some towing, first check the owners manual to make sure it is permissible to do so and, if it is, for the towing capacities of the vehicle. You will need a ball mount # C45521, pin and clip # PC2, and a properly sized ball for the trailer coupler. Use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball. For trailer wiring use # 56082.

If you plan on using the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier make sure that the accessory is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch. For non-trailer loads use of stabilization strap # 18050 is recommended.
