What Tailgate Seal do You Recommend for My 2022 Honda Ridgeline?

Recommendation and then confirmation that the recommended tailgate seal can be applied in both Left/Right vertical and lower horizontal surfaces with no hinderance to the Ridgeline tailgates operation in either rotation action.

I have an answer for you. Without knowing the exact dimensions of the gaps on the vertical and horizontal portion of your 2022 Honda Ridgeline's tailgate, I cannot confirm for sure what tailgate seal will allow full functionality. That is because tailgate seals are designed as universal fitments.

However, the best route is to measure the width/height of your gaps on your vertical and horizontal openings that give you the most protection without interfering with the tailgate mechanisms such as the lift assist and latch housings. For example, if you have gaps that can accommodate a seal that is 1-1/8" wide x 5/8" thick, I recommend the TrailSeal Tailgate Gasket- A Tight Tailgate Seal # 834532001583. This seal comes with a 9-1/2 foot length, so you will have plenty of seal to work with.

Also, it is important to note that if you have any bump stops in those areas, you will need to cut out a portion of the seal to accommodate for those. I went ahead and attached a great installation video of the # 834532001583 that shows this process.
