Question:

Hi Im curious if I can connect a hybrid solar/wind controller to the batteries in use with the - Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp Item # PD4060K will there be any conflict? what do you suggest in adding solar controllers to the 12v system? Thanks

I have an answer for you about a controller. While it is possible, we currently do not have any hybrid solar/wind controllers because those parts have been discontinued. With that being said, if you already have a solar/wind controller, you can use the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4060K. With this converter, the DC side of the panel would work great.

With the AC side, however, this requires either AC shore power or an inverter like the Progressive Dynamics Pure Sine Wave Inverter w Transfer Switch and Cord - Remote - 1,000 Watts - 12V # PD34FR. If you do decide to use the # PD34FR, you need an additional # PD4060K to utilize the shore power and inverter power.
