I have a great hitch solution for you. However, the etrailer Hitch - 2" # e98841 does not fit your 2017 Jeep Renegade.

With that being said, a great hitch that does fit is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13269. This hitch provides you with a higher-quality gloss outer coat over the base powder coat that provides better protection against rust and corrosion than all of our other hitch brands. It also provides you with the most weight capacity we offer on any hitch for your vehicle. It comes with all installation hardware included.

If you plan to use hitch-mounted accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers, you also need to use the Curt Stabilizing Straps # 18050.

It is important to note that all hitch-mounted applications cannot exceed the weight capacity of your vehicle. For this reason, I recommend confirming with your Jeep owner's manual to make sure that your Renegade can handle the amount of weight you wish to transport.
