For a winch that is similar to the # DL74FR I recommend the higher rated Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - Freewheel - 1,500 lbs # DL14996. This is also a single speed winch with an automatic braking mechanism. It has a capacity of 1,500 lbs and a minimum load of 75 lbs. It also comes with the same 5-year limited warranty.
