Can Dometic RV Toilet Replace Thetford Brand Toilet

Question:
I want to buy Dometic DOM27FR for my Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser ERD19.Your FAQ states that Thetford and Dometic are interchangeable and use same flange bolts. Another of your FAQ states I not only need a floor gasket and bolts but also a floor flange, either M or F NPT. Which is correct, and what do I need to install? I dont want to take out existing until I have parts to install new toilet.

A Dometic RV toilet like the 320 # DOM27FR that you referenced would easily fit in place of a Thetford like you mentioned. We've verified this a few times with Dometic.
