I have Leland 7921 now and want to replace with either gen y or Reese Goosebox

I do have a solution for towing your trailer with a goose neck hitch but, there is not a direct replacement available that will easily bolt-on in place of your current Leland 7921. Reese does not, as a direct bolt-on, make a Goose Box that fits as a replacement for a Leland 7921 pin box, neither does Gen-Y Hitch. However, in talking with the Rep at Gen-Y, she stated they provide an option for a custom hole pattern and suggests calling Gen-Y directly for their Customer Service to walk you through the process before ordering.

My recommendation for your Leland 7921 hitch is to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, # CAB-C5G. This adapter provides use of your gooseneck hitch to tow your 5th-wheel trailer; it attaches to the pin box of the trailer and gives you a gooseneck coupler. The towing capacity is 20,000 lbs. with a pin weight capacity of 4,000 lbs. This fits to a 2-5/16" gooseneck hitch ball and has an adjustable height of 12" to 16" as measured from the top of gooseneck ball to base of king pin box.
