Trolling Motor Wiring Diagram w/ Circuit Breaker for a 24V System

Question:
I have a 24 volt trolling motor and 2 12 volt batteries connected in series. Is it ok to use a circuit breaker between the wire connecting the positive terminal to the negative terminal that creates the 24 volt connection? Thanks

Yes, you will want to use a circuit breaker like the Tekonsha 30 Amp Circuit Breaker item # 7012A , when connecting your two 12v batteries to your trolling motor. I have linked a wiring diagram that will show you exactly how to hook your system up.
