Will MORryde Rubber Upgrade Kit Part# MR47ZR Work EFFECTIVELY on Trailer With 3500lb Axles

Question:

I have a 2022 Grand Design 23LDE with tandem 3500 lb axles. I see a previous QandA where someone asked if they would work on a trailer with 5,200 lb axles. The Etrailer tech replied that he called MorRyde, and the MorRyde rep said that these would work on axles down to 3500 lbs. My questions takes the other question further. Is this kit designed to, and will it work EFFECTIVELY on my trailer with tandem 3500 lb axles? My concern is that even though it may work, since they are rated between 5200-8000, will they be too stiff or not provide as soft an absorption because they are rated higher than 3500 lbs? I dont want to waste the money and time if they dont absorb as much of the shock and still pass it on to the trailer.

The cushioning of the MORryde Rubber Upgrade Kit Part # MR47ZR will still work great with 3,500 lb axles like you have. This is a really good question but the horizontal cushioning would be the same for your axle capacity or the higher capacity axles as well.
