Can I Use the Tandem Axle Lift Kit with a MORryde Suspension Enhancement

Question:

We are having to lift our trailer due to the wheels contacting the undercarriage. We have purchased this lift kit are are planning to install it soon. While we have everything taken apart, we wanted to upgrade the suspension as well. I know this can be used with the Morryde CRE3000. However, can it also be used with their upgraded shackles/wet bolts? I think the plates on this lift kit will make the hangers wider, possibly requiring longer bolts than are included with the Morryde Heavy Duty Shackle Kit. Will the Morryde wet bolts included work? If not, can we get longer wet bolts? Thanks,

The short answer to this question is that-yes- the parts included in the MORryde kit will work just fine.

The Tandem Axle Lift Kit # RR23QX simply elongates the hangers on your trailer to provide the 2-1/4" of lift. Because it's only creating new hangers and the wet bolts in the kit you're installing only go on the shackles, they're going to work just fine. With that being said, you may need longer bolts when installing the equalizers onto the hangers, but these are not wet bolts.
