Mounting Brackets for Roller Bunks

Question:
Can 5 foot section be cut down to 3 ft and use one dl2172 bracket per side on a14 ft sea nymph aluminum boat

You will still want to use two of the Boat Trailer Roller Bunk Bracket item # DL21762 with the 5' long Boat Trailer Standard Roller Bunks item # DL21755. If you are just mounting the bunks using the bracket you won't have enough support with just one on each side.
