Question:

Can the surf pads be installed past the rapid podium feet that my wingbar evo is mounted to? If so, then two 30in pads to could cover one of my 60in bars? Have an excellent day.

I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, with Thule SUP and Surfboard Pads for AeroCrossbars - 30" Long # TH846000, these pads have Velcro sleeves that require you to loop around the crossbars. Technically, even though it is possible to use two sets of the # TH846000 for your 60-inch WingBar Evo Crossbars with the Rapid Podium feet, we do not recommend it due to the fact that you will not be able to attach the Velcro around the feet. This causes a inferior grip of the pads to the crossbars because it is only partially connected with the Velcro.

A much safer and secure alternative is to use 2 of the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH811XT so you have full coverage on both of your crossbars. Since the Shuttle come with mounting clamps instead of Velcro, you will be able to mount clamps past the Rapid feet of your roof rack setup. They can also be telescoped from 23" - 35" in length for a full customized length on your crossbars.
