Installing/Removing MORryde StepAbove Hinge Pin if There's Furniture Clearance Issue

Question:
With interior built-in furniture, there does not appear to be enough room to remove the pins for removing the steps. Is it possible for the pins to be installed/removed from the middle/center of the unit?

The pins that insert into the hinge at the base of the MORryde StepAbove Strut Assist # MR85RR can insert from the middle pointing towards the outside like you are asking about which would get around the clearance issue you have.
