The Detail K2 Snowplow for 2" Hitches - 84" Wide x 22" Tall # K2AVAL8422 is designed to slide into the 2" receiver on the front of your 2011 Ford Ranger. This snow plow cannot be used with a receiver adapter so you definitely do not want to use one. If you are having difficulty reaching the receiver you will need to set the wheels to a higher position. The height of the wheels can be adjusted to match the height of your vehicle.
