Question:

Many trailer hitches say they fit a 2014 BMW 428i coupe with x Drive but once trying to install the hitch the holes do not match up. Would your stealth bumper hitch work? Do I also have to remove anything besides the bumper? Thanks

Stealth Hitches lists their Hidden Rack Receiver # SH84VR as fitting all trims of the 2014 BMW 4 Series Coupes, Convertibles and Grand Coupe. This includes your 2014 BMW 428i Coupe X-Drive. We do have a 5-star review on the product page for fit on a 428i convertible.

The taillights and heat shield for the exhaust will also be removed to remove the rear bumper fascia. I have linked the installation instructions below for you to look over to see all the steps.

If you plan on towing or will need Auxiliary Lights # C53201 you will also need the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring # 391CONVA7. This will provide you with the Stealth ball mount, trailer chain hooks and wiring needed for a 4-way flat connector.
