It looks like most sub-models of the Electra Townie are under the 35 lb weight capacity of the Saris Solo Bike Carrier part # SA102 so it should work well but if you have a model with step-through frame (most do) then you will also need the Saris Bike Beam Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SA3040.
