Question:
Can I power my max air fan from the hot wire for my sprinters brake light?

Expert Reply:
I doubt that wiring will support the needed current draw to support the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat, # MA00-04000K. I suggest running a 12 volt line directly to the battery if you do not have a power distribution panel. You can use 12 gauge wire as, # 12-2-1 . Or, if there is a light installed nearby that you can tap into, that too is an option. Providing the wiring can handle the current draw from each component in total.
